With last year's auspicious Pantone Colour of the Year going to the wonderfully warm Coral *applause* we have to say how happy this made us! Coral is such a fantastic vintage hue that has been popular for, like, ever. Think 1930s pussy bow blouses, 1940s hats and gloves, 1950 lips and nails, and the 60s and 70s embraced it in fashion and interiors across the board.
It's also popular with vintage brides who love want a pop of bold colour that pairs incredibly well with blue, navy, green tones and even yellows. Why not add some cheery corral into the bouquets, or use it as an accent colour in small details like bags and accessories and for bridesmaids dresses too.
We've collated some images for you to be inspired and welcome you to a world of coral love...
